Have you ever been at the super market and been tempted to pick up that 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner? or better yet, a 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner & body wash?
While these alternative may save you time in the shower, the biggest disadvantage is in the build quality. For each product to function at its best, they need to work independent of each other.
For example, a shampoo's primary objective is to cleanse while a conditioner's job is to, obviously, condition. When these two items are combined into one product, the primary job of these two products is clashing and causing neither product to operate at its maximum potential.
So do your hair a favour and invest in a shampoo that will provide the full cleansing benefits for your hair and a conditioner which will provide your hair with the hydration it needs!
